Ernesto Martinez has more than 20 years of service to children. His diverse experience includes serving as a Field Manager/Executive Director for Diplomas Now/Talent Development Secondary Program partnered with Johns Hopkins University in Columbus Ohio, Turnaround Principal for George Washington Carver High School, New Orleans, LA; Superintendent of Schools for West Fresno K-8 School District, Fresno, CA.; CEO/Principal for Edison Bethune Charter Academy, an Edison Partnership Charter, Fresno, CA.; CEO/Principal  for RAPAH Academy, an Edison Partnership Charter ,Pittsburgh, PA.;  Principal 9th Grade Academy for Chester High School, an Edison Partnership Charter ,Chester, PA.;  and Dean of Students & Special Education, and Teacher for the Cleveland Municipal School District, Cleveland, OH.  

 

Additionally, he has an earned Master’s Degree (Curriculum & Instruction) and Administrative Licensure (Education Administration) from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor’s Degrees from University of Missouri and Dillard University of New Orleans, LA. Prior to a career in education, Ernesto served a five year enlistment in the United States Army as a Military Administration & Operations specialist.

 

 

Ernesto Martinez is an active member of the Cleveland, OH Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and Order of Free & Accepted Masons-Prince Hall Affiliation, Eastern Light Lodge #46 in Chester, PA. He is an affiliate of numerous professional education organizations. Mr. Martinez is a “life-long learner” and enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling and educating children and he is a faithful, dedicated, committed and professional educator who advocates for a “high quality” education for all students.
